InCasts
The InCasts just got back from a weekend of fun in Gloucester, Mass. We hung out at the beach, with a few brave souls taking a dip in the ocean. We also had gone exploring in Salem and Rockport too. InCasts meet at Smith Church on Tuesdays from 7:15 to 9:00 pm. Hope to see you there!!
RBA
RBA would like to thank the parents of Matt Otten for preparing supper for us in April and also all the RBA parents who planned, cooked, baked, shopped, served, and cleaned up for our Shareholders’ Banquet. A special thanks to the Gibson family, Nancy Denu, Gil & Chantal Misiaszek and her mom, Jim & Michele Greene and her mom, the Wightman family, Angela Martin, Dave Dick, Heidi Welch, Cheryl Soules, Bernice Crosby, and Heather Veitch. And a big thank you too to all of you who supported our fundraisers and came to hear about our experiences in New York City. As one shareholder said, “It was a fantastic meal and another wonderful opportunity to see how great our Middle School youth are!” And another comment – “Loved the presentation; the pictures and kids' comments were great!” Our adventure to New York City was a fantastic trip - serving a lasagna lunch at our mission site for emotionally-disturbed and mentally-challenged adults was a great learning experience for us, and seeing the new 9/11 memorial in the footprints of the old Twin Towers was particularly moving. The parking ticket we got in Manhattan – not so much.
Looking ahead to May, RBA will have a sleepover at the church on Saturday night, May 19, following a day and evening of fun and adventure, and we will be greeting in church on that Sunday morning.
